Our Mission

Firehouse North Student Ministry is designed for students grades 6th – 12th.  We exist to assist students to connect with God in a significant way through Relentless worship, Relevant teaching while building Real relationships. Our mission is to connect students to the life-changing power of God. We provide spiritual mentoring for students so that they may know Christ and grow in their faith. By developing personal gifts and callings, we seek to empower and release students to impact their world for Christ. Come join us and Experience what God is doing at the FireHouse North.

Wasted Grave

The centerpiece of the Scriptures is the story of Jesus, and the paramount moment of His existence was the cross.  This series retells the events leading up to the cross and ultimately His resurrection.  In this series, we will challenge students to embrace the power of the cross and encourage victory over sin..

Remember this:

Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or terrified of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave your nor forsake you.

Deuteronomy 31:6

 

WEEK 1

 Bottom Line:  Sin is wasted pleasure.

Scripture: Philippians 2:3-4; Luke 22:1-22; Galatians 5:13-14  

Discussion Questions

 

1. How does if feel when you know you’re not a priority to someone else? Whether a friend, parent, etc. 

 2. How have you prioritized what you want over what God wants in your life?

 3. When was a time you experienced sin as a wasted pleasure in your life

 4. Who is someone you could serve better this week? How?

 Bottom Line:  Death is a wasted grave.
