Holiday festival in historic downtown McKinney with fun activities, food, all-day lineup of entertainment on an outdoor musical stage. Shop for the holidays at locally owned stores and boutiques around the square. Kids will enjoy roaming costumed characters, arts and crafts, a petting zoo and fun rides and attractions including SnowZilla.

Plano Christmas Market is a fun and free event that showcases handmade holiday gift items made of fabric, wood, ceramic, and glass. Other exhibitors have jewelry and clothing for adults and children, along with candles and soaps. There will also be a wonderful selection of salsas, jams, nuts, and dips for gifts or holiday parties. In addition, Collin County seniors will stock the Hip Hip for Gray booth with a variety of crafts including quilts, baby items, ornaments, and more!

Santa’s Village, a tiny town of sixteen holiday dwellings on the north side of City Hall is a holiday tradition for families from Richardson and beyond. Each colorful building offers children a fun activity and even a visit with Santa Claus! Attendees can also enjoy live performances, holiday photo ops and warm up with a cup of hot chocolate or a snack.

Wander through Vitruvian Park’s 12 acres and view more than 550 illuminated trees, wrapped in 1.5 million sparkling LED lights. The large number of single-color trees gives this display a modern flare.

Magical Winter Lights

Magical Winter Lights is a lantern festival embraces Chinese cultural elements with lantern designs that speak to the local audience. The festival features an entrance castle lantern inspired by the Dallas County Courthouse, a giant cowboy, and Dallas’ iconic Pegasus. There are several themed sections including Magical Wonderland, Christmas Candy Land, The Lone Star State, Dinosaur Land and Mystery of the East. During your visit, you can also enjoy Chinese acrobatic performances, dinosaur rides for children and a full-size food court.

Four million lights twinkle along a two-mile path throughout this drive-through holiday attraction. Visitors can hop out at Holiday Village, featuring the all-new indoor Snow Maze and a walk-through holiday light display.
