Christmas Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup of margarine
  • 1 ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 Cup of confectionary sugar
  • 1 cup of oil
  • 2 eggs Vanilla Extract
  • 4 ½ cups of all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of cream of tarter
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 Cup Sugar

Directions:

  1. Start by creaming margarine and sugar in a mixer
  2. Add confectionary sugar, add oil, eggs and vanilla extract.
  3. Mix till smooth.
  4. Sieve flour in a separate bowl.
  5. Mix in additional dry ingredients until evenly distributed.
  6. Gradually add dry mixture to wet ingredients, taking care to mix between adding dry to wet.
  7. Pre-heat oven at 375 degrees
  8. Bake for 10 minutes
  9. Sprinkle Brown Sugar, Pecans and 1 stick of melted butter on top
  10. Decorate to your liking with sprinkles or frosting
  11. Bake for 45 minutes
